Camaieu of Bleu

  I've been wanting to post outfits for awhile, but I didn't have any pics--but I finally do!  I love these Keds which are blue, my favorite color. I got them last summer so they're a bit beat up but I wear them anyway. The top is from a vintage shop in Paris, that I go to every time I'm there. The shorts are from H&M and I've had them forever. The leather bag is probably my most precious item because I bought it with my own money during the winter sales (I used up all my Christmas money on it).

I finished my final exams and I'm now officially on Summer Vacation! Yay! :)

Last Days Pass Too Fast

   Yesterday was the last day of school before the exams on Tuesday and Wednesday. This year just flew by.  I was feeling sadder then last year because next year I'll be going to Lycée in a different city, so I won't see my friends anymore. I met some great people this year. I'll really miss them.

We had a "goûter" in Spanish class. I made cookies and my friend Marie brought Nutella, and voila ! Chocolate Chip Nutella Cookies, aka How To Gain A Thousand Pounds In One Bite Cookies.

The sales started on Wednesday. I found a nice pair of Vans but they didn't have my size (I have tiny feet). I'll wait to go to Brest or Lorient for the good stores, can't wait. 

Well, I have to go study. Have a nice weekend !!

Lorient

   We went to Lorient on Wednesday afternoon for a doctor's appointment, and then decided to go for tea & pie at this lovely little shop called Tea For Two. I managed to get my mother into the H&M afterwards and I got a jean shirt, item which I've been wanting for some time now. :)

I had never had Lemon Meringue Pie before. I realized that I'd been really missing out since it's sooo good ! :)

Sous Le Ciel De Paris

  While waiting to go to New York this summer - ICAN'TWAIT - I thought I'd share some photos from last year's Summer Vacation : Paris ! :) This trip was great, I love Paris almost as much as I love New York, though I can't really make up my mind which is the best.

Berry Picking

One more week of school --not even a full week-- then I have revisions for three exams and I'm finally on Summer Vacation!! :)
On this beautiful Saturday morning I picked raspberries in our backyard. Since it's been unusually hot this spring the raspberries are growing crazy for the begining of June. I usually have track & field but no one was there so I came back home and picked away.

G&F

As promised, the party was great ! The host got a real camera (you know that cost a lot and that has really cool lenses&co) for his birthday, and we spent about an hour trying them out. We didn't stay up too late so on Friday I went out with a friend and we did a mini inprovised photoshoot. It was a lot of fun. We found this cool little alley between two houses and took most of the pics there.

I like that in this alley the graffiti, which is very urban, is juxtaposed with the overgrown stone wall, which to me is rather old fashioned and countryside-ish.

I'm back to school tomorrow, a full week-- how weird! Have a nice week!

June -- Way Too Soon

Can you believe it's already the month of June ?! This year just flew by and I feel like I've known the kids in my class forever and yet we just met. Doesn't make much sens but whatever !
This school week went by very fast : I had school Monday, there was a strike on Tuesday and today I only had  class in the morning. We're having a four day weekend because of a religious holiday. Tomorrow night I'm going to a friend's birthday party. That promises to be fun ! I made chocolate chip cookies for the occasion, (and bought Oreos--Yum!) and I can't wait to figure out what to wear. The simple pleasures of life! :)
Since I was feeling a bit guilty about the cookies, I did two hard yoga sessions (I get them from a podcast, they're really good) and feel great now !
I hope to go to the beach tomorrow afternoon before the party, even though it's been freezing here in Brittany. Practically all of France is having a major heat wave except for us of course, but it's going to be sunny for the next couple of days so I'll be taking advantage of that.

This pic was taking at one of the beaches (20 minute drive from my house) in April ! My friend and I actually went in the water, and I can tell you it was very, very cold ;)
