Summer Is Heaven

  This has probably been the most active week I've had since I don't know when. Every day I've been out with friends, going to the beach, just hanging out, taking photos, and going to sleepovers. Summer is heaven ! :)
I've been packing today, a task much harder then it seems. It's already hard enough figuring out what to bring, keeping in mind that I'll probably be buying stuff there, and taking into consideration that if my bag weighs more then 23 kg, we'll have to pay a $75 fine. It's been three years since we've been to the US, I don't really believe that in 48 hours I'll be there. I'm so excited !
Anyway, here are some pics from the past days of vacation in Brittany.

PS : I wrote this while listing to Aerosmith. It's been a while since I listened to them. They rock ! 
PS² : I got the results back from my final exams. I got the diploma with a mention Très Bien (= Very Good) which is the highest . :)

Lemonade Day

  I've been very happy since I'm on Summer Vacation, and the weather finally got with the program-- it's been so hot ! I made myself spend about an hour out in the sun, trying to prepare myself to the scorching heat of NYC. Conclusion : I need more prep time. I haven't gone to the beach yet but hope to go this weekend. I can't believe in a week's time I'll be in an airplane over the Atlantic. So excited !
  Having more time then usual, I decided to make some lemonade. I usually make this when it's hot out, so pretty much once a year. ;)

I had some this morning with my breakfast, it was such a nice way to start the day.

  I spent the today at my best friend Agathe's house since it was her birthday. We had a great time. We took pics that I'll add this weekend. :)

Camaieu of Bleu

  I've been wanting to post outfits for awhile, but I didn't have any pics--but I finally do!  I love these Keds which are blue, my favorite color. I got them last summer so they're a bit beat up but I wear them anyway. The top is from a vintage shop in Paris, that I go to every time I'm there. The shorts are from H&M and I've had them forever. The leather bag is probably my most precious item because I bought it with my own money during the winter sales (I used up all my Christmas money on it).

I finished my final exams and I'm now officially on Summer Vacation! Yay! :)

Last Days Pass Too Fast

   Yesterday was the last day of school before the exams on Tuesday and Wednesday. This year just flew by.  I was feeling sadder then last year because next year I'll be going to Lycée in a different city, so I won't see my friends anymore. I met some great people this year. I'll really miss them.

We had a "goûter" in Spanish class. I made cookies and my friend Marie brought Nutella, and voila ! Chocolate Chip Nutella Cookies, aka How To Gain A Thousand Pounds In One Bite Cookies.

The sales started on Wednesday. I found a nice pair of Vans but they didn't have my size (I have tiny feet). I'll wait to go to Brest or Lorient for the good stores, can't wait. 

Well, I have to go study. Have a nice weekend !!

Lorient

   We went to Lorient on Wednesday afternoon for a doctor's appointment, and then decided to go for tea & pie at this lovely little shop called Tea For Two. I managed to get my mother into the H&M afterwards and I got a jean shirt, item which I've been wanting for some time now. :)

I had never had Lemon Meringue Pie before. I realized that I'd been really missing out since it's sooo good ! :)

Sous Le Ciel De Paris

  While waiting to go to New York this summer - ICAN'TWAIT - I thought I'd share some photos from last year's Summer Vacation : Paris ! :) This trip was great, I love Paris almost as much as I love New York, though I can't really make up my mind which is the best.

Berry Picking

One more week of school --not even a full week-- then I have revisions for three exams and I'm finally on Summer Vacation!! :)
On this beautiful Saturday morning I picked raspberries in our backyard. Since it's been unusually hot this spring the raspberries are growing crazy for the begining of June. I usually have track & field but no one was there so I came back home and picked away.
